There is a tool included in Jira, the Jira Update Check for add-ons, which is found in the URL /plugins/servlet/upm/check. Jira has a lot of plugins and the plugin versions need to be compatible with the version of Jira that is running. We upgraded to the latest Jira and the latest version of MariaDB recently. But the thing is, even though it’s not officially supported the combination of Jira and MariaDB works great. Add your vote to hopefully get MariaDB Server officially supported soon. The request for supporting MariaDB Server in Jira is found here and the wider request for supporting MariaDB Server in Atlassian products in general is found here. We of course want as many pieces of software as possible to support MariaDB Server to make it easier for our customers and users. Jira supports MySQL, but officially not yet MariaDB. Jira on top of MariaDB Server is NOT a supported combination, yet. I’ve previously written a blog post about it. At that point we made use of Jira in Atlassian’s cloud, but a couple of years later we decided to install our own instance of Jira and run it on top of MariaDB Server. We have been using Jira since 2012, when we migrated from Launchpad. ![]() When you write "better info is needed", I would kindly ask you to tell me which information you would need to better see the issue. In the development of MariaDB Server we use Atlassian’s Jira as the issue and project tracking software, but also for planning. I tried stopped the phpmyadmin container and tried once again to start mariadb afterwards, but the mariadb container still throws the same error message as mentioned in mariadb no longer working after update">#7 above. Yes, I'm using this container just for "managing" the mariadb databases. Then the other day, the update of the mariadb container failed, as I described. And until now, everything worked without any problems on my system. I used portainer, since for me it is a quite easy way of managing containers on OMV. Some years ago, I started with docker, set up all containers I needed including mariadb. Regarding mariadb being used from portainer: Thanks for your answer and trying to help me. This is from phone so, not the best answer. Try stopping phpmyadmin and restart mariadb.Īnd if you only need a dB to use and don't mind start fresh, you can use a simple YML from linuxserver. What does nextcloud has to do with his issue with mariadb?Īny reason to use mariadb from Portainer?Īnd if you have phpmyadmin, one can only assume it's for the mariadb, correct? ![]() "": "MariaDB Database for relational SQL", ![]() ".name": "docker.io/library/ubuntu:jammy", "PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin",
